low carb german chocolate frosting
Excellent Low carb, high fiber alternative to traditional German chocolate frosting. I use a similar frosting for our German Chocolate Mini Cakes.

- 1/4 cup of almond butter
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 3 egg yolks
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup of unsweetened coconut
- 1/4 cup of pecans or walnuts
- mix evaporated milk sugar and almond butter in sauce pan. Beat eggs slightly and add to mixture and bring to boil on medium heat (be sure stir bottom of sauce pan so it doesn't burn). Wait for mixture to thicken to the consistency of cream of wheat. Add coconut and pecans, and let cool.
